About the authors

Jan Wicherink:

Jan Wicherink (born 15th January 1963) has a technical education and background. He studied both at the Technical University of Eindhoven and the Technical Collage in Venlo in the Netherlands. He holds a bachelor’s degree in both electrical and software engineering and is currently employed as a software engineer.

Some personal paranormal experiences in the early nineties profoundly changed his life. As a result he started to educate himself in spiritually and spent years of reading about paranormal phenomena, near death experiences, reincarnation, Buddhism and New Age literature in general. At the end of the nineties a select group of frontier scientists had started to bridge the gap between science and spirituality. From that moment on these scientists and scholars became the focus of his interest. At the same time the subject of the prophesized changes regarding the mythical year 2012 had become a major subject of his interest and study.

His endeavours after years of study finally culminated by connecting all the dots in his book titled ‘Souls of Distortion Awakening , a convergence of science and spirituality'. The book was released as a free e-book on the Internet on his birthday in 2005. It immediately attracted a lot of interest and he eventually got in touch with 2012 experts like Geoff Stray and John Major Jenkins. Around the same time in 2006 he got acquainted with the mathematician and astronomer/astrologer professor Dr. Sergey Smelyakov. Jan co-authored a few articles with Dr. Sergey Smelyakov concerning the era-2012 rare astronomical phenomena called the Great Celestial Conjunction. The Great Celestial Conjunction, although not identical, is more commonly known as Galactic Alignment. Galactic Alignment is the sun’s conjunction with the Galactic Equator at the solstices in between the years 1978-2016.

This rare cosmological event was known to the Maya and is related to the 2012 prophecies. Jan’s personal research into the 2012 enigma has led to the publication of some articles for Dutch magazines and an article for the American magazine Atlantis Rising.

In 2008 he met the acquaintance of Aaron Parlier. Aaron had independently been doing his own research and noticed that his findings ran parallel with Jan’s findings. The two decided to join their research efforts from there on. This website is their mutual platform on which their joint research efforts and/or theories concerning the 2012 enigma will be published.

Aaron Parlier:

Aaron Parlier was born in Illinois March 30, 1981.  In his youth, Aaron spent much of his time in immersed in books.  It was to be decades later that Aaron would begin to question what he thought he knew to be true from all of those years reading books.   Although his upbringing had conditioned him to listen to all viewpoints and ideas on a subject, it was becoming increasingly evident to Aaron that the scientific and academic world he knew was clearly not doing the same.  Important questions remained unanswered, and it would seem that the more credible evidence that was brought forward to question or even disprove the 'accepted' theories, the more staunchly these 'high priests of science' would guard their beliefs.  This was not how Aaron had been trained to think.

Through a veritable 'awakening', Aaron slowly began to immerse himself in these varied subjects.  The more he found, the more questions he would have.  How difficult it was to accept that what we have been taught as the definitive history of the world is merely a veil!   As the French writer Voltaire once quipped, "History is a lie commonly agreed upon."  It seemed to Aaron that the revolutionary discoveries in 'fringe physics' and the truly astounding origins of mankind were/are being kept from us for one reason. . . . . . control.

Over a period of several years, Aaron acquainted himself with the work of various authors and researchers such as Wayne Herschel, Robert Bauval, John DeSalvo, Poe Parr, and the venerated Richard Hoagland.  He replicated the experiments of Koczyrev and Reich to help his understanding of 'torsion' or 'hyperdimensional' physics.  Aaron has even had the pleasure of meeting and collaborating with some of these luminaries.  After spending a few years working closely alongside Herschel, Aaron decided that he needed to move back to the scientific, and objective, center in his own quest for answers.  It was this move that brought and introduced Aaron to the work of Jan Wicherink.  Wicherink has shown a keen scientific insight and mathematical dexterity that Aaron so much admired from authors and researchers like Hoagland and Parr.  Their research had independently run parallel, and yet they even arrived at very similar conclusions!  Still, Jan had many of the pieces that were still missing, and their later resonance of ideas proved to be very productive.  The 'Key of Solomon' site and its first article is the first harvest of their fertile collaboration.

Unfortunately, each of us can only be shown the door.  It is up to every individual as to what to do from there.  The fact that I have written this and that you are here now shows that as long as you are willing to ask questions, doors will continue to open. . . . . . and reveal all to those that will listen.

It is now up to the reader what to do, for I can only show them the door.
